The tour will start at the scheduled time when the Travel Egy Lux representative meets you at your hotel to be transferred in a modern air-conditioned vehicle to the first destination.
Aswan High Dam
After a 15-minute drive from the center of Aswan, you’ll arrive at the site of the Aswan High Dam. This prominent modern landmark was built between 1960 and 1971 in order to control the Nile flood. Since then, the floodwaters could be controlled and stored, and can be released for irrigation or generating electricity purposes.
